I know, I know, it's super indulgent writing your memoir. As if anyone is interested in MY LIFE? But I went and bloomin' did it.

Now I get asked this all the time, with 1519 weddings successfully photographed, I bet you've got some stories to tell? Well yes I have actually.So why the hell not jot it all down?

And this, Ladies and Gents is the response. Bernard Boyles First Wedding. The true story of a teenage photographer attempting to photograph his very first solo wedding.

It's set in the mid 1980's so is a nostalgic look at the time pre-computing, iPod, iPads, smart phones and depression. A carefree look at just what we did back then. Of pirating video nasties, of hanging from a moving Routemaster bus, of Blakey tipped shoes, of climbing trees and eating dirt.

Set on the 13th of July 1985, Bernard battles his fear with wit and a carefree attitude. Little does he know though, that he's chosen a church next to the iconic Wembley Stadium on the day that the largest concert in history is about to take place.

Wickedly funny and with a bygone charm, together we a rip-roaring soundtrack, Bernard Boyles First Wedding is a true life memoir of an idiot teenager.
