Product shots many years ago were dull and functional, two even lights, white background, 50 10×8 black and whites, but now, now all has changed.
These shots are for a local optician to help build a brand new website, local if you live in Balham, but Clare Vision on the High Road, well they are a little cooler than the rest, they want something a little more related to real life, so they gave me a brief brief for me to write a proposal around.
Glasses, I said, are personal to an individual almost like a fingerprint, but adding the glasses to people’s lives, does make it very personal. My brief was to show the glasses in everyday environs, just in arms reach as I, being a glasses wearer, often find.
So with this part of the brief accepted, I left with a bag of quality glasses and a desire to achieve this personal link of glasses to person.
These images have been stylised to fit with the vision of Clare Vision, if you excuse the pun.
